2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift Details
The Mahindra XUV700 has already been in market for some years now, and signs are strong that a major facelift is coming. Fresh spy shots of camouflaged test mule suggest that launch may happen in early 2026. The changes will be both on exterior and interior side, while engine and gearbox options likely to remain same. Around the same time, Mahindra is also preparing facelift for the 3-door Thar SUV.
Exterior Updates On Mahindra XUV700 Facelift
Spy images show front of SUV will get new bumper and revised headlamp detailing. Even though the heavy camo is hiding full design, it is clear Mahindra is working on giving the SUV more fresh and bold look.
Flush type door handles will stay like current model, but side profile does not seem to get any major change. Mahindra may introduce new alloy wheel design and also new colour options to keep interest high.
At rear, tail lamps appear to keep the same outer shape but internal elements look changed. Rear bumper is also redesigned, which means SUV will look more modern from backside as well.
Interior & Features
Inside cabin, the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected to be bigger step forward. Mahindra will likely borrow inspiration from its new born-electric SUV lineup. Cabin could feature premium materials, new upholstery and better finish.
Feature list may include:
- Triple screen setup on dashboard
- Front ventilated seats
- Wireless charger & USB Type-C ports
- 360-degree camera view
- Ambient lighting all around cabin
- Advanced Level 2 ADAS safety package
- Automatic climate control
- Connected car features
- All LED lighting and multiple airbags
This update will make XUV700 cabin feel more upmarket compared to current version.
Engine & Transmission
No big surprises expected here. The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift should continue with:
- 2.0L turbo-petrol mStallion engine
- 2.2L diesel mHawk engine
Transmission choices remain same too – 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. Performance figures are unlikely to change.
Electric XUV 7e Also In Works
Apart from facelift, Mahindra is also working on the XUV 7e – the electric version based on the XUV.e8 concept. The test mule has been spotted many times in heavy camo. Even though it is battery powered, design and layout will share lot of elements with XUV700 ICE version.
Conclusion
The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift will be more about design changes and feature upgrades rather than mechanical updates. Expect it to arrive by early 2026, just in time to keep the popular SUV fresh against rivals like Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and Tata Safari.
