Tata Motors is planning some big launch in Indian car market. After bringing Harrier EV, company now preparing for two more cars before FY2026 end – Punch facelift and return of Sierra SUV. Tata sales is facing little slowdown recently, so these new model may give good push specially during festive time.
Tata Punch Facelift 2025
Punch already is best selling Tata car. It crossed 6 lakh sales in less than 4 year (July 2025). Now company is ready with facelift model, which expected to launch very soon.
Spy cars already seen many time on Indian roads. From outside, new Punch will take some look from Punch EV, with new bumper, new alloy wheel design and maybe some new colour option also.
Inside also change coming – new steering wheel, dashboard little updated, bigger 10.25-inch screen, digital instrument cluster and new upholstery. Engine no change, still same 1.2 litre petrol and CNG option.
Tata Sierra 2025
Sierra name is coming back after long gap. Tata already showed near production model in Auto Expo 2025 and launch is close now.
- Sierra EV expected first, maybe October 2025. It may share same battery from Harrier EV, 65 kWh and 75 kWh, with range claimed up to 627 km. RWD version most likely, AWD also possible but not confirmed yet.
- Sierra petrol and diesel will come little later, in early 2026. It will get new 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine and same 2.0 litre diesel which Tata already using. This way company try to attract both new petrol customer and old diesel SUV lover.
Overall, Tata is targeting two strong product – one is already popular Punch with facelift, and second is Sierra comeback with both EV and ICE option. If price is kept smart, these car can give Tata strong sales in 2025-26.
