1 & 2. VinFast VF 6 and VF 7
VinFast is entering India with two electric SUVs – VF6 and VF7. Both models are being assembled at Tamil Nadu plant via CKD route and expected launch is just before festive season 2025.

- XEV 7e will be first three-row electric SUV from Mahindra, based on XUV.e8 concept and sharing design with XUV700. Features include triple screen setup, ADAS, panoramic sunroof etc. Battery will be common with XEV 9e and BE 6.
- XUV 3XO EV is spotted many times testing. It will be cheaper than XUV400 and aimed at mass market.
Both models expected to launch in first half of 2026.
5. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
Maruti is preparing its first big EV SUV, the e Vitara, which will be produced at Gujarat plant for India and export. Launch is expected in early 2026.
