The Maruti Dzire and Baleno were recently the first Maruti models to go through crash tests by Bharat NCAP. Also, both the lower and higher versions of the Baleno, one with 2 airbags and the other with 6 airbags, were tested. All of these versions received a 4-star safety rating.
