Skoda Kushaq Facelift Caught on Camera
Skoda India is getting ready to update the Kushaq SUV with a fresh new look. Just recently, some new spy photos showed up on the internet. Right now, the test vehicle is hidden under a lot of camouflage. Still, we can look forward to some important design updates. At the front, the Kushaq facelift is likely to get new bumpers both in the front and at the back. The headlamps and tail lamps are also expected to receive some design changes. Actually, it is believed that the Kushaq facelift might come with connected LED tail lamps as part of the update. The front grille is expected to stay the same since it represents the classic Skoda style. Apart from that, the SUV’s size and dimensions will probably not change.
Skoda Kushaq Gets Exciting New Features
Sadly, the inside of the Kushaq facelift hasn’t been seen or revealed yet. But we can expect that the dashboard design will get some updates and changes. Along with that, there might be a new and refreshing colour scheme for the interior as well. Besides the updated design, the Skoda facelift is likely to get new features added to its list as well. Skoda is expected to bring in new features such as Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and possibly a few more additions.

What Else Is New in the Skoda Kushaq?
Under the bonnet, the updated Kushaq is expected to carry on with the same engine choices as before. At present, the SUV is offered with two engine options – a 1.0-litre turbo petrol that delivers 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine producing 148 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The smaller 1.0-litre engine comes with both a manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
However, as per some sources, Skoda might replace the current 6-speed automatic with a brand-new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox! As for the 1.5-litre engine, it will continue to be offered with the same transmission choices – a manual and a DCT (dual-clutch transmission).
What changes can we expect in the new Skoda Kushaq facelift?
The updated Skoda Kushaq may get new front and rear bumpers, redesigned headlamps and tail lamps (possibly connected LED tail lamps), while the front grille and size of the SUV are likely to remain the same.
