Mercedes G63 Collector’s Edition Launched in India
Mercedes had been working on a special India-specific version of the G-Wagon, designed with inspiration from Indian culture and traditional aesthetics. This is the first time that Mercedes has created something specially for the Indian audience.
The teams from Mercedes-Benz India and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India collaborated to create the Collector’s Edition of the G 63, They have made only 30 units, which makes the G 63 Collector’s Edition one of the rarest versions of the G 63. The SUV comes with two new colour options: Mid Green Mango, representing the lush greenery seen during India’s monsoon season, and Red Mango, which is inspired by the iron-rich soil found in the country.

To make it even more exclusive, Mercedes has added a “One of 30” badge on the rear spare wheel cover, which is the first time they’ve done this. The G 63 Collector’s Edition comes with 22-inch AMG alloy wheels finished in gold, The SUV also has a special finish on its body cladding, making it stand out even more. To make it more exclusive, Mercedes has given the SUV a unique interior design as well

The inside of the car is made with high-quality materials and has a dual-tone look. It features Manufaktur Catalana Beige and Black Nappa Leather seats, along with open-pore natural walnut wood details for a classy touch,

Besides that, the buyer of the Collector’s Edition G 63 can choose to have their name engraved on the grab handle on the dashboard, making the SUV even more special and unique. Mercedes will offer this SUV exclusively to its current high-end customers only.
The company has started taking bookings for the G 63 and plans to start deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2025. The Mercedes-Benz G 63 Collector’s Edition is priced at Rs 5.09 Crore.

Mercedes G63: What Else Does It Offer?
The G 63 Collector’s Edition comes with the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a 48V mild hybrid system. It produces 577bhp power and 850Nm of torque. The G 63 comes loaded with many features, including a dual 12.3-inch screen setup. It also offers powered and ventilated front seats, an 18-speaker Burmester sound system, ambient lighting, and many more features.
