Honda Sales July 2025 Report
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has shared its sales number for July 2025 and the results are mixed. Company sold 4,66,331 units in domestic market, which is 6.2% more than July 2024 when sales were 4,39,118 units.
Like always, the Activa scooter carried the brand on its shoulders. The commuter bikes Shine series also contributed good numbers, while premium bike CB350 shocked with more than double growth. But, few models like Dio, Shine 100 and SP160 did not perform well this month.
Activa Still the King
No surprise, Honda Activa was the hero again. It sold 2,37,413 units in July 2025, which is a 21.37% increase YoY. Almost half of Honda’s sales is just Activa, showing how strong this scooter is in Indian market.
The Honda Shine 125 and SP125 together managed 1,38,665 units. But this was slightly down (-1.37%) compared to last year.
Winners and Losers in Honda Sales July 2025
Some bikes and scooters did well, some lost ground. Let’s check:
- Honda Unicorn: 30,572 units (↑ 14.54%) → strong steady demand.
- Honda Dio: 27,951 units (↓ 16.49%) → big drop in youth scooter.
- Honda Shine 100: 20,993 units (↓ 7.97%).
- Honda Livo: 3,664 units → almost flat.
- Honda SP160: 2,234 units (↓ 58.74%) → huge fall in demand.
- Honda CB350: 2,072 units (↑ 104.95%) → doubled sales, great sign for midsize bikes.
So, Activa and CB350 gave positive push, while Dio and SP160 pulled down.
Premium Segment and EV Sales
In premium lineup also there was some movement:
- Honda XL750: 22 units (↑ 22.22%).
- Honda GL1800 Gold Wing: 8 units (↑ 33.33%).
- Honda CBR650: 39 units.
- Honda CB500 & CB1000: very small dispatches but at least started.
On EV side, Honda dispatched 207 units of QC1 electric scooter and 16 units of Activa e. Numbers are small, but shows Honda is pushing electric.
On the other hand, Honda Dream (0 units vs 6,550) and CB300 (0 vs 145) are completely gone from market now.

Conclusion – Honda Sales July 2025
The Honda Sales July 2025 report proves once again that the Activa is backbone of Honda. The CB350’s massive growth is also encouraging. But scooters like Dio and bikes like SP160 need urgent refresh or push.
With launches like CB125 Hornet, Shine 100 DX, and 25th Anniversary Editions of Activa and SP125, Honda is trying to attract new buyers. Coming festive season will be very crucial for them.
