Hyundai Hits Record with Over 44,000 Cars Sold in India in June 2025

In June 2025, Hyundai recorded a total of 60,924 units, out of which 44,024 units were sold within India, and 16,900 units were exported. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) completed the first quarter of FY2026 by selling a total of 1,80,399 units in both domestic and international markets. Out of this, exports made up 48,140 units, which is a 13 percent increase compared to the 42,600 units exported in the same quarter last year. This shows that locally-made cars are becoming more popular in international markets.

The share of exports in the total quarterly sales has increased from 22.2 percent to 26.7 percent compared to the same period last year. In June 2025, Hyundai recorded a total of 60,924 units in monthly dispatches. The launch of the car is expected to happen around the upcoming festive season. Hyundai has recently announced a big increase in the number of new models it plans to launch. Out of the 26 vehicles Hyundai aims to introduce by the end of FY30, a large part will be dedicated to electric vehicles.
