Harley-Davidson’s new entry-level bike, likely to be called the ‘Sprint’, is all set to be revealed globally sometime later this year.
Harley-Davidson is gearing up to step into the budget-friendly bike market with a brand-new offering. The company’s CEO shared this update during a recent investor meeting, revealing a few key details about their upcoming entry-level bike. The fresh platform built for this budget-friendly model will be used as the base for several upcoming bikes.
Named the ‘Sprint’, this bike has been under development since 2021. This small engine, budget-friendly bike is set to be available in several international markets, including the US. Harley-Davidson plans to launch the Sprint in the market next year, which is 2026. But the bike is expected to be unveiled worldwide before that, probably at the 2025 EICMA show.
As for the details, the company aims to keep the price close to $6,000, so it’s affordable for more people around the world. Besides being affordable, this new bike is also expected to bring in good profits, which is a big move for the brand’s growth, as mentioned in their official statement.
Though there’s not much info available about the Sprint yet, the second bike in this new entry-level lineup is said to be a cruiser-style motorcycle. Both of these new bikes are set to hit the market in 2026. The company wants to attract younger buyers to the brand, which is quite a shift from Harley-Davidson’s usual image of mostly older riders.

This isn’t the first time the American bike maker has tried its luck in the affordable segment. Back in 2014, they launched the Street 750 in India with a similar plan, but it didn’t really do well in terms of sales. It’s worth mentioning that the cruiser bike we talked about earlier turned out to be one of Harley-Davidson’s top-selling models in India.
With the new Sprint, Harley-Davidson is gearing up for another shot at the affordable segment, and this move is expected to be crucial for the brand’s growth in many important markets. Making the bike affordable will help boost sales numbers, giving the company more freedom to introduce additional entry-level models down the line.
