Toyota has now added 6 airbags as a standard feature across all models of the Toyota Glanza. Along with this update, they’ve also launched a special edition called the Prestige Package, which will be available for a limited time.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has brought two new updates to its Glanza hatchback – one of them focused on improving safety. The second update brings some cosmetic changes, which come in the form of a limited-time accessory bundle. The more significant of the two updates is that six airbags are now offered as a standard safety feature on all variants of this premium hatchback sold in the Indian market.
Now, every variant of the hatchback will come equipped with dual front airbags, side airbags, and curtain airbags as standard features. Toyota has also rolled out a special accessory pack called the Prestige edition, which will be available for a limited period. This accessory pack will be offered from mid-June through to the end of July 2025. The dealer-fitted bundle includes visual enhancements designed to spruce up the Glanza’s exterior and make it look more attractive.

The Toyota Glanza Prestige package comes with chrome trims on the doors and fenders, a design piece on the lower front grille, covers for the rear lights, light-up door steps, and a protective plate at the back. It also includes highlighted ORVMs (outside rear-view mirrors) and weather visors. Apart from these, there are no other changes made to the range. The hatchback still comes with the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine, which delivers a mileage of up to 22.94 kmpl when paired with the AMT gearbox.
When running on CNG, the fuel efficiency of the car is about 30.61 km per kilogram. The main features still include a 9-inch touchscreen that supports smartphones, a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display (HUD), connected car technology through Toyota i-Connect, rear air conditioning vents, and a tilt and telescopic steering wheel. The Glanza comes with a factory warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometers, which can be extended up to 5 years or 2.2 lakh kilometers.
Toyota’s support services include 24×7 roadside assistance, quick 60-minute express servicing, and flexible finance options. Toyota aims to boost its presence in the premium hatchback segment, where the Glanza has already been chosen by more than two lakh customers since its launch. The starting price of the Glanza is now Rs. 6.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
